Abu Dhabi’s charging rollout is led by ADNOC Distribution’s E2GO network — fast DC chargers retrofitted onto existing ADNOC petrol stations — plus Tesla Superchargers at Yas Mall, Al Maryah Island and Al Ain. Coverage is thinner than Dubai but improving quickly, with new E2GO hubs opening across 2026.

Where to charge, by scenario
- Daily commute — 22 kW Type 2 at your building’s parking, or a stop at an ADNOC mall site.
- Abu Dhabi ↔ Dubai run — Ghantoot (Tesla Supercharger) or an ADNOC E2GO along the E11.
- Road trip to Al Ain — Telal Sweihan (ADNOC E2GO), Hili Mall (Tesla Destination), Al Ain (Al Tiwayya) Supercharger.
- Ruwais & Al Dhafra region — Al Dhanna Tesla, Mirfa ADNOC, Ruwais Housing Complex West.
ADNOC E2GO specifics
- 50 kW DC CCS2 at most sites; newer hubs hit 120 kW.
- Payment via the ADNOC app — Apple Pay and credit card both supported, unlike DEWA’s app-only flow.
- 24/7 availability at petrol-station sites — a real advantage over mall chargers that close with the mall.
- Amenities on-site — F&B, toilets, car wash — a 30-minute charge becomes a comfortable break.
Tesla in Abu Dhabi
Seven Supercharger locations cover the emirate. The most useful for locals is Yas Mall (V3, shaded parking); Al Maryah Island is the Downtown option. For long-haul West, Al Mirfa and Al Dhanna are the only DC stops until you hit the Qatar border.
