1. About PlaidCars
PlaidCars (the “Service”) operates the website plaidcars.com. The Service is an independent vertical meta-search and market-intelligence tool focused on Tesla vehicles and, where noted, other electric vehicles in the United Arab Emirates.
PlaidCars is an independent service. PlaidCars is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by Tesla, Inc., by any vehicle manufacturer, by any automotive marketplace, by any data provider, or by any other third party whose publicly available content or trademarks may be referenced by the Service. All referenced marks and names belong to their respective owners and are used in a descriptive and nominative capacity only.
2. What the Service does
The Service aggregates factual information about publicly available vehicle listings and related data in the UAE — fields such as model, year, trim, asking price, mileage, and location — and presents them alongside analytical views (market statistics, price-history, cross-source deduplication of the same physical vehicle, deal scoring against closely-matched comparable cars). Every listing card on the Service links out to the source page where the listing was originally published.
The Service does not:
- Host listings themselves (no transactions are completed on plaidcars.com).
- Display seller contact information (phone numbers, WhatsApp, email).
- Reproduce full listing descriptions or listing photographs.
- Represent that information is current or complete at any given moment.
3. No advice, no warranty
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Information about listings is derived from third-party sources and observed at a point in time; prices, availability, and specifications change constantly. Nothing on the Service is an offer to sell, a solicitation, or financial, tax, or legal advice. Decisions to buy, sell, import, or finance a vehicle are the user’s alone.
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, PlaidCars disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
4. Acceptable use
Users agree not to:
- Use the Service to harass listers, dealers, or third parties.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the analytical outputs of the Service for commercial resale without a written licence.
- Scrape the Service at volumes or rates that impair its availability to other users, or circumvent rate limits or technical controls.
- Use the Service to facilitate unlawful activity under UAE law.
Automated access for a user’s own research at polite rates is permitted.
5. Intellectual property
The factual data points referenced on the Service (price, mileage, year, model, specifications) are not owned by PlaidCars and are not claimed as such. The compilation, deduplication logic, market-statistics views, deal-scoring methodology, vehicle-canonicalisation dataset, visual presentation, copy, and code of the Service are PlaidCars’ intellectual property or used under licence. Users may reference and link to pages on the Service with attribution; reproduction of the analytical layer at scale requires a written licence.
6. Third-party links and sources
Listing cards on the Service link to third-party websites. PlaidCars is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or terms of those sites. Your interactions with third-party sites are governed by their terms.

7. Future services, monetisation, and partnerships
PlaidCars reserves the right to introduce, at any time: paid placements, sponsored listings, dealer partnerships, referral arrangements, data licensing, subscription or pro tiers, advertising, and formal data-sharing agreements with source platforms. Any monetised surface will be clearly disclosed as such on the page where it appears. PlaidCars undertakes not to let monetisation silently distort the ordering or visibility of organic (non-paid) listings without visible labelling.
8. Changes to these Terms
PlaidCars may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent material change. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of the Emirate of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from the Service, without prejudice to PlaidCars’ right to seek injunctive relief in any competent jurisdiction.
